V max (A and C) and the total amount of O2- released (B and D) are shown. In A and B, n = 27, 6, 6, 26, 18, 6 and 5 respectively. In C and D, n = 27, 6, 6, 28, 20, 6 and 5 respectively. Results are shown in the form of a Box and Whiskers graph, and groups were compared using one way ANOVA followed by post hoc Bonferroni test for multiple comparisons.
