Effect of the Ii-segments on F306-specific antibody responses in the different hybridimmunized Balb/c mice. Balb/c mice were injected i.p with antigen: F306, Ii hybrids (GST-Ii-key/F306, GST-Ii-key/F306/DN, GST-Cyt/TM/Ii-key/F306, GST-Cyt/TM/Ii-key/F306/DN or GST-Ii/F306) at week 0, and boosted at weeks 2 and 3 with the identical antigen or hybrids. The mice were bled at weeks 4 for the evaluation of F306-specific serum antibodies by ELISA, in which His-F306 was used as the coating antigen. Each bar represents mean ± SD values obtained from individual mice (5 mice per group). These experiments were performed three times with similar results. The antibody titers between all of two groups had significant differences (P < 0.01).
