Liver cytokine expression in infected Se-deficient or adequate mice. Cytokine mRNA expression was determined in liver samples from each Se-deficient mice. C57BL/6 mice were infected with L. monocytogenes. Livers were obtained from infected Se-adequate and Se-deficient mice at 72 h post infection.
