From: Intensive chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia differentially affects circulating TC1, TH1, TH17 and TREG cells

Figure 4

Circulating FoxP3+ T REG cells and CD4+ CD25HIGH T cells in AML patients and healthy controls. The levels of CD4+ FoxP3+ TREG cells and CD3+ CD4+ CD25HIGH T cells were analyzed for patients with untreated AML (AML, n = 16), patients with chemotherapy-induced cytopenia (Cytopenia, n = 16; the first cohort of patients) and during hematopoietic reconstitution after chemotherapy (Reconstitution, n = 6); these results were compared with healthy controls (n = 30). The levels are presented as the percentage of each cell type among CD4+ T cells. No age-dependent differences were observed in the control group. All results are presented as median (horizontal line), 25th to 75th percentiles (boxes) and variation range (whiskers). Statistically significant differences are presented at the top of the figures (Mann-Whitney test).
