Middle ear response to NTHi challenge in WT vs. TNF-deficient mice. H&E stained sections from untreated MEs and MEs at 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 days after NTHi inoculation. The examples illustrated are representative of the typical response seen in MEs for that time and genotype.
