TLR2 triggering effects Treg suppression. (A) Suppression assays were performed with wild type Treg and TLR2-deficient Teff in the absence or presence of Pam3Cys, in which the read-out is Teff cell proliferation. Pam3Cys inhibited Treg-mediated suppression in a dose-dependent manner. (B) Analysis of the effect of Pam3Cys on IL-2, IL-4, IL-10 and IFNγ cytokine production. Increasing concentrations of Pam3Cys did not restore cytokine production (nd, not detectable). Data representative of 2 experiments are shown.
