STAT3 phosphorylation activated by LPS is significantly enhanced by Shc blockade. DCs from Lewis rats were stimulated with LPS (0.5 μg/ml) in the presence of Shc siRNA (50 nM, 100 nM) or NEG. siRNA. Cells were harvested and Western blot analysis was performed for phospho-STAT3 at Tyr-705 and for total STAT3.
