The figure shows that the number of eosinophils (a), neutrophils(b) and lymphocytes (c) in BAL fluid were significantly lower in the Goishi tea/Der f and the Gallic acid/Der f groups (vs. Tap water/Der f; p < 0.01 and p < 0.05, respectively). Mice were intraperitoneally administered 500 mg/kg of pentobarbital solution in 1.5 ml of 0.9% saline solution, and 80% (1.2 ml) of the solution were recovered. The number of inflammatory cells was recorded. Results are mean ± SD of data from 5 mice in each group.
