Concentrations (pg/ml) of IFN-γ (A), IL-13 (B) and IL-10 (C) in supernatant following co-culture of naïve T cells with DCs in a mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR) (upper panel) or co-culture of naïve T cells with DCs which had been loaded with gliadin. Also depicted is cytokine production by naïve Tcells and DCs in single culture. Treatments correspond to untreated (CTRL), 1% BSA and TG-2 activity defined as 0.039 U/mL (TG-2 [high]), 0.0036 U/mL (TG-2 [mid]) or 0.00022 U/mL (TG-2 [low]).
