Microtiter plate peptide array chemistry Costar TPX microtiter plate strip well surfaces were oxidized with nitric acid, coated with polylysine and peptide synthesis is performed as described in Methods. Attachment of the polylysine chains to the wells and initiation of peptide synthesis takes place through the lysine ε-amino groups. The predicted polylysine helical segment shown is stabilized primarily through backbone H-bonding and synthesized peptides are depicted by red spheres.
