Coexpression of GM-CSF and ovalbumin does not bias the humoral immune response. Mice were immunized by DNA prime adenoviral vector boost injections as described in figure legend 5. Ovalbumin-specific IgG1 (A) and IgG2a (B) antibodies were determined by ELISA. Shown are the mean OD405 values with their SEM (n = 6) from the vaccinated animals. Immune sera were diluted 1 to 10 and 1 to 1000 for determination of IgG2a and IgG1 antibody levels, respectively. Only statistically significant differences between immunization regimens expressing either ovalbumin or GM-OVA in the one-way ANOVA test are indicated.
