  1. (i) Mean ± standard deviation (SD). Liposome composition- EPC:DOTAP:DOPE 50:25:25 molar. Liposomes containing DNA-hsp65 at molar charge ratio 1:10 (cationic lipid:DNA). Diameter measurements were done in independent samples: n = 8 for liposomes complexed with DNA-hsp65 and n = 9 for liposomes entrapping DNA-hsp65 and empty liposomes.
