Screening for cytokine mRNA expression by quantitative PCR. Freshly isolated NK cells were pre-incubated overnight with pro-leukin and stimulated with IL-2 /IL-15 (IL-15) or A. fumigatus (Afum) germ tubes for 6 h. RNA was isolated and analyzed for the relative expression of the indicated genes by qPCR. Results were normalized for the value of unstimulated NK cells (−/−) – which was specified as “1”. n = 5, means and standard deviations are shown. *p < 0.05. Please note CCL5/RANTES, which was significantly downregulated in a very small range
