Comparison of CD4+T cell subpopulations and lymphocyte subsets between populations aged ≤40 years and >  40 years. Flow-cytometric enumerations of T cells, B cells, NK cells, and CD4+T cell subpopulations were performed. The differences in the numbers of each lymphocyte subset and ratios of Th1:Th2, Th17:Treg, and CD4:CD8 were compared. Black bars: medians. P-values were determined with the Wilcoxon rank-sum test
