Dendritic cell migration to the MLN in response to infection was unaffected by the lack of functional β₂ integrin. DCs were isolated from the MLN of Itgb2^mut mice, and littermate control (wild type) at D0 and D19 post-infection were analysed by flow cytometry to look at DC subsets in the MLN. Absolute numbers of CD45⁺ cells were calculated for (a) CD11c⁺MHCII⁺F4/80⁻, (b) CD103⁺CD11b⁺, (c) CD103⁺CD11b⁻, and (d) CD103⁻CD11b⁺ DC subsets in the MLN at day 0 and post-infection, n = 4–5 mice/time point, *(P < 0.05).
