Table 2 Study population: inclusion and exclusion criteria

From: Differential polarization and the expression of efferocytosis receptor MerTK on M1 and M2 macrophages isolated from coronary artery disease patients

Inclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria

Age of 18 to 70 years old

Pregnant or breastfeeding women

Undergo elective coronary angiography

Total white blood cells > 11.0 × 109/L

Have evidence of myocardial ischemia by means of positive stress test or positive Dobutamine stress test echocardiography

Recent myocardial infarction (less than 6 months)

 

Renal (creatinine > 1.7 mg/dl) or hepatic (transaminases > 20 U/L) dysfunction
