High endogenous reactivities to viral antigens of PBMCs from cancer patients. PBMCs from a healthy donor and a patient with metastatic cervical cancer were cocultured with T2 cells pulsed with indicated peptides or DMSO for 16–18 h, respectively. The release of IFN-γ in the cocultured supernatant were detected by ELISA. The IFN-γ release of PBMCs from the cancer patient were three to eightfold higher than that of PBMCs from the healthy donor. Similar results were observed in patients with metastatic melanoma and NPC
