From: Blockade of exosome generation by GW4869 inhibits the education of M2 macrophages in prostate cancer

Blocking the release of PCa exosomes with GW4869 inactivates the AKT and STAT3 signaling pathways in macrophages. Macrophages were co-cultured with PCa exosomes or CM-2B4-GW4869/CM-1E8-GW4869 for 48 h. Cells from each group were harvested and lysed with RIPA buffer, and then the protein concentration was determined using the Bio-Rad protein assay. We used 20 µg of the cell lysates to analyze the activity of the AKT/STAT3 signaling pathways in different macrophage cells by Western blotting. The data was analyzed using Bio-Rad image Lab 3.0 (beta 3). Full-length blots are presented in Additional file 1: Fig. S2 and Raw data
