Inflammatory responses in ΔTrspMmice. (A) LPS (50 mg/kg) was intraperitoneally injected into mice. Mortality of the animals was determined at the indicated time points (n = 9 for control mice; n = 11 for ΔTrspMmice). (B) Serum samples were collected 2 h after intraperitoneal LPS injection, and cytokine concentrations were measured. Data represent mean ± standard error (n = 3). There were no statistically significant differences in the cytokines tested. (C) Changes in ear thickness of individual mice after TPA treatment were determined on the indicated days.
