The gastropod Hcs RtH and HpH induce apoptosis of C-26 carcinoma cell line in vitro . The C-26 cells were incubated in the presence of different concentrations of HpH and RtH (100 μg/ml, 12.6 μg/ml and 1.6 μg/ml) for 72 hours at 37 °C/5% CO₂. At the end of the cultivation the cells were double-stained with Annexin V-FITC /Propidium iodide and were analyzed by flow cytometry. Percentage of stained cells is shown in each quadrant. The panels represent the results from 3 independent experiments.
