SRA-ECD protein suppressed HBV antigen induced CD8+ T cell responses. (A) Recombinant SRA-ECD protein was prepared using the pET expression system, then analyzed by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting with anti-SRA antibody. (B) PBMCs from CHB patients were stimulated with HBV core peptides, and subjected to intracellular cytokine staining assays. The percentages of HBV peptide-induced cytokine-producing CD8+ T cells were calculated. Representative dot plots from three independent experiments are shown. GST protein prepared by the same procedure was used as an unrelated protein control. The inhibited percentages were calculated and summarized (C).
