Four screened compounds inhibit mouse Th17 cell differentiation. CD4+CD25− T cells were isolated from the spleens of 8–12-week-old mice and cultured under Th17-polarizing conditions in the presence of one of the screened candidate compounds (5 μM) or DMSO for 4 days. RORγt (2a), IL-17 F (2b), and IL-17 F (2c) mRNA expression was quantified and normalized to GAPDH. The results were shown as the means ± SEM. ** P < 0.005
